Will Golhaabo ratify the constitutional amendments?

Last month Maldives Dictator Golhaabo said in one of his addresses that the ratification of the constitution will be the fastest process of all implying that he will do so quite swiftly. However, as time goes, we are noticing that he is not very keen on it and has obviously requested certain changes to be made, including immunity from prosecution.

ހައްދުންމަތީގެ ޞިއްހީ ދާއިރާގައި މަސައްކަތް ކުރައްވާ ސަރުކާރުގެ އެންމެހާ މުއައްޒަފުންނަށް މުސާރަ ދިނުމުގެ އެންމެހާ ޒިންމާ އަކާއި މަސްއޫލިއްޔަތު އަދާކުރަމުންދާ ތަނަކީ ހައްދުންމަތީ ގަމު ރީޖަނަލް ހޮސްޕިޓަލްއެވެ. މި ހޮސްޕިޓަލްގައި ގާތްގަނޑަކަށް 160 މުއައްޒަފުން މަސައްކަތް ކުރަމުން ދާއިރު އޭގެތެރޭގައި ބިދޭސީންނާއި ދިވެހި މުއައްޒަފުން މަސައްކަތްކުރެއެވެ. އިދާރީ މަސައްކަތް ކުރާނެ ގިނަ މުއައްޒަފުންތަކެއް ތިބުމާއިއެކު ޢާންމު ރައްޔިތުންގެ ލުއި ފަސޭހަޔަށްޓަކައި ޑިޕާރޓްމަންޓް އޮފް މެޑިކަލް ސާރވިސަސް އިން ހިންގަމުންގެންދާ ގިނަ މަސައްކަތްތައް ޑީސެންޓްރަލައިޒް ކުރުމުގެ ގޮތުން ލ. އަތޮޅުގެ ޞިއްޙީ ދާއިރާގެ އެންމެހާ މަސައްކަތްތައް ޒިންމާދާރުގޮތެއްގައި ކުރުމަށްޓަކައި ޙަޥާލުކޮށްފައިވަނީ ލ. ގަމު ރީޖަނަލް ހޮސްޕިޓަލްގެ ދެއުޅި އެއްނުވާ ރޯނުއެދުރު (ސެންސަރުކޮށްފައި) ޢަލީ ނާޞިރާއެވެ.

Notorious Gangster “Chika” Arrested In Malé

One of the Maldives’ most infamous gang leaders was arrested by police in possession of drugs, weapons and cash on Saturday morning in the capital, Malé.

Ibrahim Nafiz – nicknamed Chika – is a leader of one of the most well-known gangs in the capital, Buru, and is reported to have been involved for over ten years.
